On day 1 of this hands-on workshop, Helen will show you how to prepare cotton fabric for dyeing, test plants for their tannin content and dye using locally sourced plants. On day 2, participants will master the magic of mordant chemistry, using thickened mordants and discharge agents to create unique designs on the tannin-dyed cloths.
